MY HISTORY

I was born in 1959 in Halesowen and have lived in Rowley Regis in the West Midlands, England ever since. I have been around bikes all of my life, from the age of 4, I used to go on the back of my uncle's scooter. While still at school I brought a purple FS1E N reg. sold that a year later to get a KH250 P reg, within two months a car driver had knocked me of fracturing my skull and breaking my mate's leg in two places. Twelve months later a H1E 500 worst handling bike I have ever had, this time a chap on a Honda 90 turned across me causing me to crash leaving me with bruised kidneys, cuts and bruise's.   Then about 6 months later a Z 900 R reg was purchased which came with loads of extras including a Rickman race fairing. Rear sets and a Devil exhaust  were brought from the Earls Court motorcycle show over the winter. The fairing and rear sets lasted till the spring when the bike hit the tarmac due to the engine bars digging into the tarmac and high siding me over the top on a island in Kidderminster,  (got done for driving without due care ) as if it was my fault the road got to close to the engine bars. Various other bikes were brought and sold including a GT 750 kettle, H1A 500. Then got married in 1979 to Debbie. Sold bikes got into cars, In early 1991 decided to buy another bike AJS350 sold it because I had very few whit worth spanners. So I then brought a Kawasaki H2 750A triple, every time I went out thought it was going to seize that had  to go, so I then brought a Z1000 A1 lasted about 4 months sold that, to buy a Z1B which I still have. The Z had only done 12,000 miles when I got it (US import) its now done 19,000 miles, discovered sports bike's in 1994 had ago on mates urban tiger blade TOTALLY IMPRESSED. Then brought a damaged GSXR750 M repaired that, handled great but not fast enough. Over the winter brought a damaged Blade, painted it in Repsol colours. Two year's later brought another CBR900 from USA with front end damage. Over the winter I repaired it, had the engine totally rebuilt  spent two much on it did 2,500 miles got done for speeding. Lost interest ( too much police presence everywhere you go) didn't use the bike at all in 1999. Sept 99. got offered 916  at a price I could not refuse. So that's about it, over the winter of 99 I am having the 916 painted in race colours. I will write more here when I have thought of something interesting to put.
