THE BLADE WAS ORIGINALLY IMPORTED FROM NORTH CAROLINA IN OCT.97. WITH FRONT  END DAMAGE. DURING THE WINTER THE BIKE WAS STRIPPED AND TOTALLY REBUILT. ALLAN  JEFFRIES REBUILT THE ENGINE AT A COST OF NEARLY £2,000. THE FORKS WERE SENT AWAY TO M.H. RACING AND FITTED WITH OHLINS SPRINGS AND REVALVED. SIX POT CALIPERS WERE FITTED TO PERFORMOTO ADAPTER PLATES ( I WAS NEVER HAPPY WITH STANDARD BLADE BRAKES ). THE BIKE WAS RUN IN DURING SPRING OF 98, ONLY COVERED 2,5OOmls. DURING THE SUMMER DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF POLICE ABOUT. FIRST IMPRESSIONS WERE THAT IT DID NOT FEEL THAT QUICK UNTIL I HAD A GO ON A FRIENDS STANDARD BLADE. WHEN THE BIKE HAD COVERED A FEW MORE MILES YOU COULD TELL THAT THERE WAS DEFINITELY MORE POWER. 135 bhp. ACCORDING TO M.R. DYNO AT CHESHIRE. WHILE OUT WITH OTHER BLADES IT PULLS AWAY FROM THEM NO PROBLEM. I WAS IMPRESSED. IN OCTOBER 98 I GOT DONE FOR SPEEDING, SUPPOSED TO BE 58 IN A 30 ACCORDING TO THE PLAIN POLICE CAR WHICH HAD SUPPOSED TO HAVE FOLLOWED US. THE SUMMER OF 99. CAME, NOW ON 9 POINTS I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE A BREAK FROM BIKES AND GO FISHING IN THE SUMMER (cannot get points on your fishing license). ALTHOUGH I NEARLY GOT DONE FOR POACHING ONCE (lack of evidence). IN OCTOBER OF 99. I WAS OFFERED A 916 AT THE RIGHT PRICE SO DECIDE THE BLADE WOULD GO, I WILL LET YOU KNOW DURING THE SUMMER OF 2000 IF IT WAS THE RIGHT DECISION. ANYWAY THE PRICE OF THE BLADE IS AROUND £5,500 WHICH IS MILES TO MUCH COMPARED TO THE PRICE OF A NEW BIKE, BUT NOT AS INDIVIDUAL. THE BIKE IS NOW AS QUICK AS A R1 AND LOOKS BETTER. MY OPINION ONLY. IF YOU NEED TO KNOW MORE CONTACT ME . THE REASON THE BLADE'S FOR SALE IS I'VE BROUGHT A 91SEX.  IF YOUR STILL INTERESTED AFTER ALL THIS I MIGHT TAKE A P/X FOR SOMETHING INTERESTING.
